At The Tackle Box, Inc. we've been serving fisherman and hunters since 1960. Our founders, Howard and Lena Lamb who arrived in St. Mary's County in 1958 when serving in the Navy with their sons Buddy and Ken started the business with the goal of providing high-quality bait, tackle, gear and expert advice to the outdoor enthusiasts.
Today, his son Ken Lamb continues to uphold Howard and Lena's legacy by offering top-notch products and customer service. Ken Lamb, who began as a teenager working in the store, who was the owner now Sales Manager/Vice President of the cooperation after conveying The Tackle Box, Inc. to Ben and Heather Windsor. Ken is still active in publicity, paperwork, bait handling, and sales and has no plans of retiring.
Ben and Heather Windsor took the reins in July, 2025. They plan to continue the family tradition set by the Lambs to provide the best fishing, hunting and shooting equipment. Also, the local knowledge for the anglers and hunters.
